Ronaldo de Assis Moreira
Porto Alegre (Brasil)
21 March 1980
Debut 27 July 2003
Hungry to follow in the footsteps of the great Brazilians like Evaristo, Ronaldo, Romario or Rivaldo, Ronaldinho joined Barca in the summer of 2003, after proving his worth at world level in Brazil and France.
Ronaldinho learned his trade with Brazilian club Gremio de Porto Alegre, where his skill and pace soon got him noticed on a bigger stage. In 199 he was part of the Brazilian team that won the Copa America, bagging six goals in the competition, including a spectacular effort, in typical Brazilian style, against Venezuela.
In 2001 he crossed the Atlantic to join PSG and although his time at the French club didn't produce the success he yearned for, he continued to star for Brazil and won a World Cup winners medal in 2002.
